The Talent Connection

 

The Investment Company Institute (ICI) offered a free one-hour webinar to law school students of color to introduce them to the asset management industry and legal and compliance career opportunities within the industry. ICI, headquartered in Washington, DC, is the leading association representing regulated funds, including mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), globally.

Webinar topics included:

  • The asset management industry: size, scope, and regulation
  • How asset managers serve investors
  • The range of legal and compliance career opportunities in the industry
  • A day in the life of an asset management lawyer

Participants had the opportunity to ask questions throughout the webinar. Questions were able to be submitted in advance during the registration process.
