The Anti-Defamation League
was founded in 1913 "to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to
secure justice and fair treatment to all citizens alike." As a premier

forms of bigotry and prejudice. Among the programs and services offered by ADL
are:

Europe: a trip for campus editors to travel and learn about current
problems and contemporary achievements in Israel and Europe.
- The Campus of Difference™: interactive programming
which fosters
intergroup understanding and communication, and explores cultural
identity.
- Cultural Shock: a program designed to meet the needs
of international students adjusting to campus life in America.
- Gender Issues: a program focusing on gender relations
and sexism.
- ·Heterosexism: a program focusing on bigotry
experienced by gays, lesbians and bisexuals.
- Resource Materials: guides, videos and books such as
